EEG & ADHD ( 6)

The 3 clusters Clarke identified

1. A predominence of high amplitude è particularly in frontal regions, and reduced amounts of Ä and â. â was especially lower during cognitive tasks. This cluster was associated with cortical hypoarousal
2. Increased slow wave activity in the Ä and â bands and reduced fast wave activity. This cluster was most different from the control group in relative Ä and è posteriorly and in â centrally. It has features that are congruent with maturational lag model but only in terms of the hyperactive features.and
3. High power â activity with differences in Ä and è. This was 20% of the sample and was associated with cortical hyperarousal.
